The cheetah had spent most of his life being known for one thing.
Speed.
Very impressive.
Very efficient.
Slightly repetitive.
One morning he decided to try something different.
He purchased bright clothing, several unnecessary accessories, and earrings large enough to influence local weather patterns.
Then he sat down.
That was the first surprise.
The second surprise was refusing to get back up.
Word spread quickly.
The rabbits were fascinated.
The deer were confused.
The squirrels formed opinions immediately.
Several owls requested additional time to process the situation.
The cheetah, meanwhile, was having an excellent day.
For the first time in years, nobody was asking him to race anything.
He simply existed.
Comfortably.
Spectacularly.
Questionably.
The forest remained divided.
Some admired the confidence.
Some admired the colors.
Some suspected a mild head injury.
Eventually, the animals reached a compromise.
If the cheetah no longer wished to be the fastest creature in the forest, that was his business.
However, he clearly deserved a new title.
After considerable discussion, he was officially recognized as:
The Minister of Unexpected Personal Decisions.
The cheetah loved it.
Nobody else knew what it meant.
Which somehow made it even better. 🐆💚💛🩷✨
