When Wings Remember

In the end, life is not a contest between doves, wolves, and crows — but a revelation of what we have become when no one is watching. The dove, the wolf, and the crow each live within us: innocence, ambition, and vanity fighting for control. The sheep and the goat dwell there too — compassion and calculation, wrestling quietly in the heart’s unseen pasture.

We have built systems — hospitals, churches, governments — to preserve order, yet we have often smothered the spirit that gave them life. We have taught rules but forgotten relationship, efficiency but neglected empathy. The mother who suffers in the hospital hallway is not just a patient — she is a mirror, showing us how far we’ve wandered from mercy.

The dove still waits to be released. The wolf still paces inside our pride. The crow still speaks when silence would heal. And the Shepherd still calls, not for the loud, the rich, or the powerful — but for those who still believe that love is stronger than logic, that kindness can rewrite procedure, and that Heaven keeps score in ways we never will.

When Jesus sent His followers “as sheep among wolves,” He was not arming them with strategy, but with spirit. “Be wise as serpents, yet harmless as doves.” It was not a warning of danger, but a declaration of difference — that light shines brightest when it refuses to become darkness to survive it.

So let the wolves keep their strength, the crows their noise, the goats their rituals. The Kingdom belongs to those who still see with tears, serve without counting, and love without proof.

For when wings remember what they were made for — not to rise above others, but to rise above self — even the smallest dove can silence the forest.

The final image is stunning: the dove silencing the forest when its wings remember their true purpose—to rise above self, not others. It’s a compelling call to action: to choose love over logic, kindness over procedure, and tears over tabulation. Wow !! Best soulful read of the day 🦋

Thank you so much, Aparna. 🌸 Your words are pure poetry themselves. I’m deeply touched by how you understood the closing image—it’s exactly what I hoped would echo: quiet strength through love.

This text is a profound meditation on the inner struggle between ambition, innocence, vanity, and compassion. It beautifully reminds us that true strength lies not in power or control, but in the courage to act with love, empathy, and integrity—even when no one is watching.👌👌👌👌
