When Heaven Turns the Page
Christmas always begins with a closing. In Close to Rise, we learned that God never shuts a chapter to shrink us, but to lift us—like Abram, Jacob, and Simon who discovered identity not by clinging to their past, but by letting God seal it. Closure, in His hands, is not a threat but a sunrise.
In Guided Unfamiliar, we saw how first steps feel slippery yet sacred. Abraham with no map, Moses with no path, Mary with no precedent—each discovered that unfamiliar ground becomes steady the moment God walks on it first. We don’t begin strong; we begin held.
In Beyond Imaginable, we remembered that God writes futures wider than our foresight. The Samaritan woman, weary fishermen, and Paul himself stepped into promises no human would have drafted. When Heaven opens a page, it never matches our expectations—only surpasses them.
a whisper becomes a doorway
a loss becomes a lantern
a crack becomes a calling
a step becomes a story
a yes becomes a new world
In Stuck Isn’t Safe, we felt the weight of refusing closure—Israel longing for Egypt, the rich young ruler gripping comfort, Lot’s wife turning back. Familiarity may soothe, but it also cages. Christmas invites us forward, not backward.
And finally, in Overflow Witness, we saw that new chapters don’t end in scarcity—they spill over. The early church, the bold disciples, the restored Corinthians—each became proof that when God rewrites you, the world notices the abundance.
So this Christmas, let the message stand unshaken:
He closes with purpose.
He guides with presence.
He promises with wonder.
He warns with love.
He blesses with overflow.
Close the book.
Open a new page.
And walk with Him into the chapter that awaits your “yes.”
